Total Theatre endeavours to provide the most expert teachers available, from a wide range of art forms. We aim to provide each student with an environment where they feel respected and safe to learn and explore, whilst still learning to take responsibility for themselves and their training.
- We respect the fact that the students have paid for this training, and that they have made a considerable commitment to our school.
- Our teachers come from different backgrounds, and have different teaching styles. We value these differences, and believe that this variety enriches the learning experience.
- We undertake to provide an environment that is stimulating and also restful, to provide the best learning conditions. We are dedicated to your progress, and mindful of your safety.

In return, we expect our students
- to make their best efforts in all classes, rehearsals and shows.
- to respect the differences in our teachers, and not to expect a standardised, 'accredited' style of teaching
- to appreciate our school environment, to keep it tidy and pleasant
- to respect all other students who are the other members of our 'ensemble', and to help them progress
- to follow strictly our few rules for personal safety (safety code), for both health and for insurance reasons
- if you have any concern or complaint, to raise them immediately with the director or administrator, rather than to other students, staff or outsiders. We will do our best to resolve problems well and promptly.
