The Total Theatre
course is open to students aged 17yrs+.
Please print a copy of this form and send it to us along with your $20 application
fee.
Course fees are $7,260 (including GST) per year (inclusive of training and
production components), payable in two installments of $3,630 (including GST)
per semester or one installment of $7,110 (a saving of $150 applies if total
fees are paid at commencement of year).
Audition Process
for Total Theatre
First individual auditions will be held in Dec 2007 with follow up auditions
in Jan/Feb and an ensemble workshop in February - dates to be announced
Individuals are allocated half hour slots for presentation and discussion
with School Director, Annie Stainer.
For your audition, we ask that you perform a short piece of text of your choice
(from a poem, a monologue, a play etc.) as well as a short physical piece
of your choice (dance, acrobatics, mime, creative movement etc.) These can
be traditional or self-devised. If your audition piece includes both text
and movement then the one piece is fine, otherwise we ask that applicants
perform two short pieces to demonstrate both spoken and physical skills. Your
audition presentation should be 3-4 minutes long. You can include any kind
of performance: singing, dancing, poetry, prose, magic, tumbling or circus
skills.
There will
then be a short time for participants to talk with the director of the school
